I’m using an iPad mini and am having trouble! My accuracy—assuming I ever finish it—is gonna be terrible because I can’t see where my finger is sliding.

The "Abandon All Hope" one is still going slowly. I'm also going to have awful accuracy, as my clumsy fingers and those teeny letters are not a good combination.

I have my Fire tablet somewhere that might work better, but at least with the phone I can play on the go.

I expect my accuracy to be about 1%, though!

I went back and played around with Scordle, it had 31 possible guesses after the second, with me putting in their suggested word for the first. It had not gotten any correct letters at all after the second guess, but Scordle recommended the correct guess on the third! Wish my brain was programmed like that.

Hi Kwik : Wordle is a daily online word puzzle created by Josh Wardle during the Covid lockdowns. It became super popular, and was eventually purchased by the New York Times for a 7 figure sum. So the link to play is on the NYT website: Wordle - A daily word game
The link shows a "log in" tab, but you don't have to subscribe to play. Just click on the "play" tab, and you'll get the explanation of how to play. More info at Wiki: Wordle - Wikipedia

After Wordle became an online hit, tons of clones were created, such as Canucke (a Canadian version), Heardle (which you can guess songs by listening to clips), Squaredle (a word find version), just to name a few.

If you get hooked on Wordle, and since you like crossword puzzles and scrabble there's a good chance you will, hope you'll join in with us. We even have a "just for fun" weekly Wordle competition, but don't feel you have to join that.
