I was going to say that maybe you need to slow him down so that milk does NOT get in his lungs. If he's drinking that fast, he's really hungry. You may want to try adding some Gerber plain rice cereal to his milk to help fill him up. That and/or feed more frequently so he's not drinking as frantically. In another week he may be ready to try eating mush from a dish on his own.
He actually slowed down on eating but I think its cause I was hovering for a bit. He's been pretty active, wanting to wobble around and nibble on my fingers. Holding my breath until tomorrow.
I went and tried the cereal and he's slowed down! Still sneezing a bit but he's still eating and playing. I think he's in the clear! [emoji]128522[/emoji]
Yeah! Hold on. Let me try to figure out how to post a pic from my phone.
as an update, this lil guy didn't make it. he died on christmas day after coming back from another foster's house with diarrhea. i think he came in contact with something. i wish i hadn't have to go out of the town that weekend.
he was a little sweetie though. he met my fiance and crawled all over him and for a long while was a happy, healthy baby. then the diarrhea happened and even the vet visit didn't help.
Aww. I'm so, so sorry it came to this! God bless the both of you, thanks for letting us know. There are drugs to help next time with diarrhea! Thank you and much love [emoji]128149[/emoji]
