I finally got the word from Microsoft that it was OK to upgrade my Win 8.1 computer to Win 10. Heck I think that was back in August that I had gotten a blip from Microsoft, asking if I wanted 10. Anyway, it finally pulled through the other day. I hemhawed around for a couple of days, but decided to go for it today. Easy. Truly. I think it probably took about an hour for the computer to go through its paces, do the set up, do the upgrade, restart itself several times, etc. Again, I got rid of some stuff that I didn't want to deal with. Checked to make sure that all my programs worked OK. PSP 7 works, iTunes is fine, my Fitbit app works, Kasperksy is working well; it updated right away, did a scan. Office is fine, everything seems to be OK.
Now, I just hope it stays that way!
( was worried about iTunes because I had heard that iTunes doesn't play nice with Win 10. Seems to be OK.
