will a mom cat remember her baby and vice versa?

I have a little boy who is being raised by myself his mom came back into his a while ago but wasnt able to feed him. I plan on keeping him and i am wondering if they will remember each other??

Cats don't tend to remember each other if they're apart for some time. Others would argue that they do remember. It depends on the situation and the cats.

Remember as in will she know that his her son and vice versa? No, they will see each other as another cat once he reaches adult hood. But that doesn't mean they won't bond as buddies.

Ah okay! Man that stinks but hopefully they will still be playful and everything together.
