I am caring for 4 3-4 week old kittens. I've done this before, but these are the most active, wildest kits I've ever dealt with. Any suggestions about calming them down a bit?
Such a wonderful age but I don’t know that there is a way to calm them. Just keep them confined to a room or enclosed space that is totally kitten proofed so they don’t hurt themselves and give them plenty of safe toys.
Hi. Totally agree with susanm9006
on all counts! They can be crazy! I am involved with 6 of them at that age. Give them lots of comfy blankets to nuzzle/sleep on, and if you are not already doing so, try giving them some kitten food. These kittens are crazy for it (in addition to nursing), and seems to help make them want to nap!
I've never had the pleasure of "raising" kittens, so have to live vicariously through others. Therefore, other than keeping them in a confined area, I have no suggestions. I do have a request. Can we see some pictures? How To Add A Picture To Your Forum Post | TheCatSite
