We adopted our kitten, Boop, from a rescue. She was born into rescue, and had to be bottle fed. So, now, after she wakes up from a nap, she takes her tail in her mouth, and suckles on it! Sometimes for over 10 minutes, and getting almost two inches of her tail into her little mouth.

Not surprised by this behavior with a bottle baby! The suckling behavior is very common for cats that were separated from mom too early. Your kitten may eventually grow out of the behavior or not.

If she is not doing any damage to her tail, I really wouldn't worry about trying to correct the behavior. However, if she starts creating sores on her tail, the behavior will need to be addressed.
