My cat Mr Grey has EGC/allergies but they've been mostly under control with Atopica(without it he chews his ankles raw in back).
But he still keeps chewing the whisker pads on his front legs so the whiskers there are chewed off! I don't know why since he doesn't chew the rest when he's on the Atopica.
His littermate Harley has milder allergies and sometimes does it too. Not as much/badly.
