Tiki, but because I'm biased on alfalfa meal.
I have cats AND guinea pigs. They don't digest the hay. I rarely use alfalfa because that's for pregnant and young guinea pigs, but I know exactly what happens when they eat timothy or orchard grass. If they process legume hay differently, someone give me a clue.
The hay comes out exactly as it went in, sometimes hanging as threads from their butt and have to be pulled out. My assumption is alfalfa hay is purely a filler.

Some manufacturers say it has protein benefits, but cats are obligate carnivores and it doesn't always work that way. They need meat protein.

Have you fed Tiki to your cats? How did they do on it?

We do Tiki After Dark because my ladies do not favor the fishies, and everything else Tiki has seems to be poultry/fish blend. They won't eat the half a quail egg in the one flavor, so I toss it to Tommy.

Mine only like the Tiki mousse chicken and egg or chicken and pumpkin. I was asking about the Tiki cat dry food. Have you or has anyone else tried it??

Ask if they have any samples or coupons you can use. Dr elseys cleanprotein was released before Tiki dry was, and I've been using it as their kibble base while I encourage them to eat wet food all day as well.
I went from NV instinct chicken kibble to Dr E.
Oddly when I checked formulas today it looks like NV instinct chicken doesn't contain the alfalfa meal that duck does.

I like the Tiki kibble best, shortly followed by the Instinct. I haven’t fed any of these foods, but based on the ingredients I like that Tiki has more meat before peas than the others

Tiki Cat: meat, meat, fish, fish, fish, egg, whole peas...
Fussie Cat: Meat, meat, peas
Farmina: Meat, meat, pea protein
Instinct: Meat, meat, meat, fish, meat fat, peas

That’s basically how I evaluate - I want as much meat as possible as early in the ingredient list as possible.

I agree. I try to avoid fish so we went with the Dr. Elsey's chicken. The girls like it so it's a win-win. Lily really likes it and she's the pickier of the 2.
