Where To Find A Lead For Walking Jacket?

Just ordered a SafetyKatz walking jacket for my 9-month-old kitten/cat, but it doesn't seem to come with a lead. Where is a good place to get one? And are there different types, and if so what should I look for? New to this. Thanks!

Most cat leads are pretty much identical. The same kind of strap that most collars are made of, loop on one end for your hand, a hook style clip on the other end to attach to the harness. You can find these just about anywhere, PetSmart, PetCo, Chuck and Don's, the pet store in your local mall; it doesn't really matter except that some places may be cheaper than others.

What you don't want in a cat lead is one of those really long retractable leads that some dog owners use. That's a good way to end up with a cat stuck in a tree. Just look for a basic cat lead in a color that will look good with your cat's walking jacket and you'll do fine.
