When Your Cat Turns Her Back On You.

Not sure what's up. She's been sitting like that for 5 minutes now.

Our cat Apollo will do this to me when he is on the couch if I dare to pet him when he is not in the mood for attention from me. Apollo is daddy's kid. He is still affectionate with me but very much on his own terms. He prefers to hang out next to me now instead on snuggling on me. Once in a while he will surprise me and come sit in my lap for pets. He used to sleep on me but now will only sleep on daddy. Once in a while I will wake up to him sleeping on my legs. He seems to only sleep on my legs after I am asleep. I usually hear about it from my hubby.

Sometimes my cats do that, too. Most of the time the reason is they see something that gets their attention and distracts them from you.
