I was just wondering about when do most cats stop growing? I have an almost 3 year old cat who I swear hasn't stopped really growing yet. I mean I knew he was going to be a big boy when he was over 4lbs at 12 weeks old lol but yah dannng he's big. And I mean not fat at only 13lbs but super tall and long, with massive paws. He was neutered at 12 weeks old but again at 4lbs.. I expected big anyways lol. He takes up half of a small couch when just laying normally as you can see and his paws are massive. Pics dont really show how big he really is lol. He completely blocks off the hallway with his long body lol. He has that big cat hunch too, so his back is higher than his legs often. I just wondered if its normal for a cat to continue to grow this long. I dont think its because of the early neutering given how large he was as a kitten before being neutered though? oh and here's a baby pic of him at 9 weeks old showing how big he was already. He was 3lbs then.

What a big ball of fluff! I have had a couple of very large male cats. One, Eliot, looked a lot like your baby. Jamie, whom I have now, is long and appears to be somewhat thin but weighs 16 lbs. In his case it went more to length and he has to be held with both arms or his body dangles. You don't think your cat has health problems?

He's glorious! Most cats are fully grown by 2.5 years. You could always ask your vet.

Some breeds don't stop growing until they're four or so. I have an orange tabby girl that has been having little growth spurts all through her three years of life. She's not that big, but just grows a little every six months or so. I hope she's done.
