LOL yes, Brisbin is pretty much how it's pronounced, much like Melbin (emphasis is on the first syllable). Definitely Ipswich, Queensland, then, which I presume was named after Ipswich in England, like most of our towns.

Wow,that's some difference,so cold and then so warm.... is that usual,is it cold at night ?
According to the weather guessers , this current weather is more like Mid to Late May. I'm not complaining as I have been able to keep the windows open and the Airconditioning turned off for the past several days.

We are under a flash flood warning. We’ve had 300% more rain in the last 2 weeks on average and now have a storm system dropping an additional 2-6 inches of rain.
Thankfully the storm went south. But 15 miles away they were devastated.this is the road my BIL drives to work

I think my humidity gage is broke. It's 95° F and pouring. My gage says 35% humidity. With what little I know about humidity and how it works I know that's impossible.

70F now but 87 this afternoon with thunderstorms. Wednesday, 7/12, we had 11 tornadoes touch down in our general area.
