No heat for 4 days? That's terrible. Why did it take so long to fix?LOL the heat wasnt working in my apartment from most of saturday til last night. I was all layered up. long sleeve sleeping shirt, sweatpants, fluffy socks, plush robe... and 4 blankets to go to sleep.. now that the heat is working it feels like 100 degrees in here
I hope it gets warmer in VT by the first of April. My daughter is going to visit her God-parents for Spring Break, April 1-5. I don't want her getting stuck there just before her graduation.
5 right now. Today's high was 9.
Why no gloves or mittens?-14C, but felt like -26C because of the strong bitter wind. Not much snow though. We got 9-11 inches of snow yesterday, I think, but a lot of it melted when it was only 0C yesterday so we have maybe 6-8 inches left now
I went out expecting worse, so I wore fleece lined tights under my jeans, a tank top, a 3/4 sleeve, and a sweater with two pairs of socks, my heavy duty winter coat and boots, a fleece scarf, and a crocheted hat. I was relatively snug, and the few times I had to get my hands out of my pockets, it was more than bearable. I've been through worse.
