Let me know how it turns out, sure hope you like it!
I've been working on our grill, too, this morning. I wanted to have an early dinner today, but don't see that happening. We will be having grilled pork chops rubbed with a southwestern-type seasoning: cumin, chili powder, minced garlic, oregano, paprika, and a touch of cayenne. Then the rubbed chops go into a bag of bbq sauce (I'm going to use some of my apple butter BBQ sauce for this) to marinate for a couple of hours before throwing them on the grill.
And to go with that, I'm trying Pat's recipe for Cauliflower Salad (instead of potato salad). With some green beans.
I made a big pitcher of iced tea, too.
NICE! I had Zatarain's black beans and rice. Pretty good for just box stuff.Larry should be walking in the door any minute. He has been in NY for about four days. SO - I have dinner all ready. Slow Cooked Vegetarian Chili - garlic bread, and for dessert I made Key Lime Pie. (from the box, of course)
That sounds really good.We had pan fried chicken breast, home made sweet potato chips and asparagus sautéed with butter and sherry.
