What's For Dinner? - 2023

Egg salad sandwiches on light rye bread... also known as the easiest way to accidentally consume 8 eggs and half a loaf of bread if there's a big serving plate of halved ones left out at a gathering.

Well plans changed our neighbors son made pizzas and sent over one for us - hand made and oh so good. He's got a little pizza oven and makes hand tossed pizzas. Nice Neighbors are the BEST!!!!!!

Chicken casserole tonight! We’ve actually got a good menu this week.

We met two couples for brunch and there was plenty of food leftover for tonight's dinner, e.g. veggie frittata, hash browns and pancakes with strawberries for me. DH had cinnamon swirl pancakes with cream cheese frosting. We both had homemade English muffins too.

I made sandwich rolls today and that's what our cubans will be made on for dinner,along with a cucumber and onion salad and maybe his favorite chips.

Went out to a diner for lunch after a trip to urgent care and hospital for an emergency ultrasound for son. Thankfully it isn’t what they suspected. Kids had burgers and fries hubby and I had gyros, Greek salad and fries. I brought home the fries and salad. I’m still stuffed.

Dinner is Dinner out at Shiro's -anniversary - so no cooking for this lady..Yay!

Last night's dinner was applesauce-BBQed spareribs in the Foodi, along with baked potatoes, and sauteed squash.

I'm considering salmon cakes tonight. That could change.

I'm having a Zatarans microwaveable blackened chicken Alfredo over penne pasta- surprisingly delicious and I barely added anything to it- very tastey

I think Iunch wiII be hot pastrami and provoIone. I need to use up the pastrami. Dinner wiII be my favorite chicken strip with corn and mac n cheese. It's kinda nice to have a go-to that you never seem to get tired of! EspeciaIIy when you can have a meaI for under $2!

Another scorcher today so the only thing I cooked was cheese burgers...he finished up the Obrien potatoes and I had some of my cuke and onion salad.

Had a traditional korean dinner of a spicy bean paste stew with grilled makerel pike gf dad cooked was good made stop here on our way home.iced mocha and doughnuts for the morning

Let me see. Either old-fashioned beef stew with popovers OR New England pot roast OR beef pot pie. Cole slaw is also on the menu. The chuck roast is thawing as I type.

We have leftover pork,gravy and veggies,so I'm thinking I will have a hot pork sandwich and some carrots,and he'll have the potatoes,gravy with pork and finish up the carrots.
