Do you have pictures?i had applied to adopt a kitten(s) from a local rescue. i knew that my application had been approved, but i was just told that i can attend their adoption events (there's one tomorrow) and should i decide on a kitten(s) to adopt...i can bring kitty (-ies) home with me right away!
DeeDee is almost completely black, and Allie is a lovely mackerel tabby -- and is polydactyl!
What a handsome boy he was. RIP Wesley
Look at the bright side. At least you don't have to lose it by yourself.
I found my iPod.,,,,and it wasn't in the washer or dryer!
I had plugged both the iPod and my Fitbit into the computer Monday night for them to charge overnight. Got up Tuesday morning, put my Fitbit on my wrist and had no idea what the heck I did with the iPod. I thought I'd put it in the China cabinet in the kitchen. All I knew is that I put my Fitbit on and then went out to the kitchen to feed the kids their breakfast. I keep my Fitbit in the China cabinet on the stack of saucers in the kitchen when I'm not using it (so it's safe!!), so I thought I put it there on Tuesday morning.
Last night I tore my desk apart. Emptied out desk drawers. Nothing. Rick and I went through the trash. Nothing. I checked pockets of everything that was to be laundered. Nothing. Rick took a yard stick and a flashlight and got under my desk, under the filing cabinet, under his desk. (We thought maybe I had just left the iPod on my desk, Muffin found it, knocked it to the floor and played with it.) Nothing. I checked the bathroom closet....you never know. Nothing. I went out to the China cabinet in the kitchen. Nothing. Went through the hutch. Nothing. Checked the piano in the living room. Nothing. Went down to the basement and checked the washer and dryer (I've already washed two iPods in the past two years, so at this point, anything's possible!) I even checked the refrigerator.
I went back to the China cabinet again and there was an envelope Rick had tucked in there next to the stack of saucers. I picked up the envelope and.....there it was. Rick had taken a couple saucers out and when he did, he knocked the iPod into the envelope. And evidently he didn't know he did it. I picked the iPod out of the envelope, turned around, and looked at Rick. He got that "Oh,!" look on his face and walked away.
I think we're both losing our minds.
Well, At least you found it!!!!

Did you find your keys yet?
Well, At least you found it!!!!
Right now I have been searching everywhere for a certain set of keys...I really need them. I keep blaming Artie for taking them, but I know it is me...there is no one else to blame...
Pam, that is a funny story.. Cats are so intuitive. They really do try to communicate with us!
Did you find your keys yet?
Several years ago, Rick had used my car keys as he was driving Clarence somewhere. He came back, but never gave me my keys back. Well, the next day, I was getting ready for work....and couldn't find my keys. I ripped the house apart. I actually called into work and said I didn't know if I'd be coming in because I could not find those blasted keys. Our admin asst called me to tell me she'd come down and pick me up....I told her to give me 30 minutes yet and I'd call her back.
Well, Mollipop was sitting on the bureau behind the tv in the bedroom. I was ripping through Rick's bureau looking for the keys. And muttering to Mollipop about men in general.Molli was listening intently and she was watching every move I made.
And then she looked over to a spot next to her on the tv bureau and chirped. I asked her, "What are you looking at, Baby Girl?" And I walked over.....to see her staring at my car keys!
I picked her up, gave her a big kiss, grabbed my keys and went to work.
