I was visiting the dark side of YouTube again, and I came across a video about unusual last meal requests from prisoners on death row. It is unlikely that I will be ever be on death row (unless I end up murdering my idiot brother-in-law :redtongue:), but it got me thinking about what my own last meal would be. I love Chinese food as well as the Texas barbecue and "chicken fried" foods that I was raised on, so I would request ALL of the following:

1. Chicken fried steak with gravy
2. Fried skillet potatoes (with onions)
3. Fried okra
4. Fried hominy
5. Brisket slathered in barbecue sauce
6. Jalapeño sausage
7. A pound of maple peppered bacon from
HEB
8. Orange, sweet and sour, teriyaki, and
sesame chicken with fried rice
9. Mongolian beef
10.Fried cabbage (with plenty of bacon
(grease)
11. A small meat lover's pizza (I'm watching
my calories)
13. One dozen Mrs. Baird's fried cherry pies
(delicious and hard to find anymore)
14. An order of Popeye's spicy chicken
tenders

If I'm going to die anyway, why not die full and happy? What would you pick?

LOL, I was thinking something of the same thing as I started reading your title and post, to go hog-wild  - fried chicken for sure, Kentucky Derby pie (wonder if they'd allow the bourbon?!), soft serve vanilla/chocolate swirl ice cream :hyper:

Small servings of each so I have room for all of it. Except the margaritas

A pitcher of my homemade margaritas
Popeye's spicy fried chicken, a biscuit and a side of their gravy
Potatoes pan fried in bacon grease with onions and jalapenos
Shrimp scampi with fettuccine
Caesar salad (NO anchovies)
Thin crust white pizza
Fried calamari with garlic aioli for dipping
Sesame chicken
Won ton soup
Shrimp toast
Vanilla frozen custard with gummy bears
Beef or pork tamales
Jamaican curry chicken with potatoes and dumplings
Warm bread pudding with vanilla rum sauce (NO raisins)
Half a bottle of Tums

I need to change my order. I forgot to add jalapeños to my potatoes, and I need several frozen strawberry margaritas to drink! Oh, and a Sweet and Spicy Bacon Burger from Whataburger. No fries though--I wouldn't want to get carried away!

Last meal on Earth? Um...probably NOT hot dogs with cheese and onions. A nice but small chef's salad, fried shrimp with homemade hush puppies (onions, please), and cherry cheesecake for dessert. Plenty of sweet tea with lemon.

A prime grade New York Strip steak grilled on a charcoal fire, I actually like it a little more done then Medium Rare. I like it between medium rare and medium. A large baked potato with both butter and sour cream. Warm yeast rolls with real butter and a hot fudge sundae for dessert.

I'm going to say something really different here. I wouldn't realize that it was my last meal and I'm on deaths doorstep etc. So I'd probably end up eating something really stupid like a hot dog with potato wedges followed by coconut cream pie.
