What type of blue cat do you think she is? I got her from the shelter so I know that there is no way I’ll ever know but her eyes and fur are so stunning I was wondering what you guys think is most likely. She is 1 years old by the way

She's beautiful! :redheartpump:

I would describe your cat as a blue domestic shorthair. Blue is a color, not a breed. The blue color is caused by a recessive gene that is widespread in the domestic cat gene pool, and doesn't indicate specific breed ancestry. Most cats are not any particular breed, and are also not "mixed" with any breed, unlike dogs.

Blue domestic cats vary in eye color, generally having either green, gold, or orange/copper eyes. Their coat color can vary in shade from light to dark gray, with many blue cats having "silver tipping" on the hairs. This variation gives each blue cat its own special look! I agree, your cat is stunning :)
