Yesterday I had an appt with a neurologist about my back (injured back on April 25th when I drove my van into a deep ditch). He said signs are good - no shooting pains, numbness or weakness in my legs - and that I am just healing. I mentioned the acupuncture and massage a friend had done for me and told me to continue that therapy. It that fails to alleviate the pain, then he will send me to IU (around here that stands for Indiana University) for pain management. (Give it a couple of months.)
A CAT scan would show for sure any injury to the spine, but the local ones are not large enough to handle me. (Though according to the scales I have been on, I've lost 60 pounds since the accident!!! Pain has a way of killing your appetite.)
I had an accupuncture treatment last night and the back just feels achy - no sharp pains. Next treatment will be at the end of the month when my friend returns from Mexico. I still have problems sitting up for a while though am up to an hour at times.
The van is still needing repairs as soon as the body shop gets the parts. Seems some parts are getting hard to find for my 1990 Ford Econoline van.
I sooooo miss being able to be on longer with my TCS buds!
