What possible breed could my cat be?

Hello,

We've had our cat Smokey for 13 years now. We got her from the local SPCA,so we have no idea what possible breed she could be. We love her to bits, but we've spent the last 13 years wondering what she could be!

Sorry for the poor quality, she is camera-shy and I wanted to get a picture before she ran away!

She's obviously a mix, but of what? There are blonde patches (don't know if you can tell from the picture) all over her fur.

I'm hoping you guys can help us out!

The overhelming majority of cats  doesnt belong to any especial breed, nor are fresh mixes from them.  Most are a natural mix of the local population of cats...

So is probably yours too.    Although there IS some lookish, I think.

Her maze of colors is because she is a tortoiseshell.  I susepct strongly she is even a torbie, ie Tortoiseshell and Tabby.

I think I see a hint of the revealing M on her forehead.

It is my impression, if you see a cat with bewildering pattern and colors, and you cant get wise what is the matter - it is a torbie...
