Hello! This is Dixie, I belive she is abut 6 yeas old now. She has thick, soft fur. I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of cat she is? She is very friendly, and a pretty big girl. I was thinking she might have some maine coon in her? Just wanted to hear what everyone else thinks. Thanks!

The generalized term for all moggy (or mutt) cats is "domestic short/medium/long hair."
So I'd have to say that she's a domestic long hair - and a beautiful one at that. I can see the Maine Coon in her - though I'm not very good when it comes to breeds.

@1CatOverTheLine is good with breeds. So is abyeb abyeb and even more users, but those are the two that come to mind first. They'll tell you what you need to know.

I agree some Maine Coon influence is a possibility, but without a DNA test she'd be called a dilute calico Domestic Longhair. She's pretty!

The muzzle resembles a MC but the eyes are to round I would think. MC's eyes tend to be more oval or slanted. As abyeb stated, domestic long hair would be correct terminology. She is very pretty!
