What is this coming out of cats bum

Hey folks have a look.. I will attach a picture. I noticed this about 4-5 days ago, maybe more.

I thought it was poop. But now I dont think it is.

My cat is just over one, eating, drinking, acting normal

Hi .it looks like poop in the center and maybe an issue with his/her anal sacs? Do you have a vet you can talk to?

Well there is a vet about 45 min away. But if its poop why has it been there for 5 days. Should it not fall out when she goes to poop

I don't know. Its just what it looks like to me, but I'm not a vet. Just to ask, you're sure your cat is still pooping normally?

Well I took a cotton ball soaked in hot water held on her bum for 10 seconds and gently pulled it and it came off.

you were right it does apprar to be poop that somehow got “glued “ to her butt that strong and bung on for days

It's a clingon that your kitty didn't clean up. Good job on keeping her clean. I'd be in ICU if I tried that on any of my cats.
