What Is This Bump?

Hi guys, I had posted once about this a while back, but I wanted to share better photos to see if someone might recognize what this bump might be. My kitty Buddha will be 3 years old in February, and a few months back I noticed a black, circular bump on his head. I didn't think much of it because he is young and cats can get moles and skin tags and whatnot, but the bump is changing. What was a black circular bump now seems to be growing something out of the middle of it. I've looked at everything from ticks, different types of cancers to cutaneous horns and ringworm...I really can't find anything that looks similar. The bump started out hard and smooth, but the growth coming out of the middle feels rough and scabby. It isn't oozing or bleeding and doesn't seem to be causing him any discomfort...it just looks bizarre and I can feel it when I pet him. I'm getting him into the vet as soon as I possibly can, but for now I'm just hoping someone has a clue. 67831843_2416852085074714_2840860389422399488_n.jpg 67831843_2416852085074714_2840860389422399488_n.jpg 69270999_657545694740755_7157493622177267712_n.jpg

it's still really hard to see because your picture doesn't enlarge much when we click on it. Can you take another picture really close up and post that one? Also, is it on the TOP of his head, or the back of his head or just where? If you can't take a close-up that is in focus, can you explain how large it is? I really have no idea what it might be since I've never had any cats with anything similar, but just in case others look at your post, it would be nice to have this information.

It is directly on top of his head, and it's roughly the size of a pea. That was as close as I could get. I will post the large version of the photo and maybe that will make it easier.

Definitely get a vet to look at it. Getting an actual look and feel is better than photos. Hope it’s nothing!
