My Eko, age 2, had a check up today. In August he had his first dental cleaning because he had horrible tartar build up for such a young cat. His gums were inflamed and bled some during the cleaning. JUST 3 and a half months later (today) it was evident that he has two cavities or lesions on two back teeth. We will schedule another dental soon and most likely those teeth will be extracted.
Anyways, the vet mentioned a supplement for dental health that I had never heard of before. I was curious what the knowledgeable folks here would think about it. I was surprised I'd never heard of it because I've done a ton of reading on feline dental health (having two young cats with bad teeth and one stomatitis cat we recently adopted.)
What do you think......
Eko already gets the following supplements....a probiotic, salmon oil (omega 3's) and CoQ10.
This link is better because you can see the ingredients.....
