She is black and white, but it looks like there are some kind of tabby stripes going through the black. What do you call this?

That makes sense to me.Still the question remains, the coloration is a bit unusual. If she were brown tabby and white, it would be plainly seen. No problems.
Now she is pitch black, and her being a tabby is clear by coincidences: the forebrow, and also the white going down showing up the marble pattern.
Genetically she is probably a black and silver tabby, that is why she is black for real. But has so much white, it goes both on the white spots places, and also, covers up the silver stripes places...
This were a real problem for a breeder, whom must know exactly what genes are inside. For a loved pet cat owner its probably enough the cat she has, is not only unusual in her heart and eye, but also in the eye of experienced forumists.
