I’m buying a TICA registered kitten tomorrow from the original owner. It’s my first purebred kitty. She is selling due to life hardships. The litter was registered and the TICA certificate has her name as the owner of the kitten I’m buying. I’d like to get the kitten transferred to my name as the new owner. Does she need to sign something on the certificate as transferring ownership? If anyone can post a picture of a TICA certificate showing the places to sign, I’d appreciate it to make sure things are done properly.

I found this on the TICA site but you may have already looked there.

Q: How do I get my cat transferred to my name?
A: To transfer a TICA registered cat, please submit the Certificate of Registration to the Executive Office with the signature of all owners on the reverse of the certificate and the name of the new owner filled out plus the fee.
