What Can This Be

last night I saw my cat's nose looked like something took a little chunk off of it I disinfected it and cleaned it a bit this morning it looks much worse. I won't be able to take him to the vet until tomorrow afternoon.

Is this an indoor/outdoor cat? I'm guessing a bite/fight with another animal? Maybe others on this site will have some home remedies for cleaning until you can get to the vet.

It's possibly a bite but could also be a skin ulcer/lesion due to any number of causes, e.g. fungus, autoimmune illness, bacterial infection, etc. Please contact your vet for the proper diagnosis and treatment since you mentioned being able to take him tomorrow afternoon.

Thank you to everyone who replied, Vet said it looked like a burn on his nose and come to think if it my roommate did light a candle that day
