Most cats doesnt belong to a breed, unlike dogs. They just are in the general population of cats.
These cats are called for domestic, or quite common lovingly, for moggie.
Her pattern is called for tortoiseshell and white.
I think. A bigger and more clear / sharp picture is welcome. Or even a couple of good pics.

Her color / pattern is Tortoiseshell and White -- a combination of black, red (orange / ginger) and white patches. In North America, this kind of Tortie & White pattern is also called "Calico" . Tortie and White or Calico are not breed names; this is a pattern seen in many breeds as well as in the far more numerous cats who not a breed and are called Domestic Shorthairs or Domestic Longhairs.
That's probably what this cat is: a "Domestic Shorthair" , sometimes fondly called a "moggy".
Honestly, it would be pretty hard to even say what breed she resembles , just from a photo shot from high above. I can tell her coat color / pattern but that's not the same thing as breed. But the vast majority of cats are not a breed or even a mix of a few breeds. It's very different from dogs since there has been much less human control of cats' breeding. Most cats have just bred randomly on their own and have a mix of ancestry from the general cat population in their part of the world , and in most cases they are not really considered a breed. So odds are that this lovely cat is one of that great moggy majority.
If you are in the U.S. tell your GF to try searching on petfinder.com for cats at shelters and rescue groups in her area, and for Breed put "Calico" (which is not a breed, but since about 97% of cats are not a breed, Petfinder lists some coat patterns as "breeds" , to help people who are looking for cats who have a certain kind of coat color / pattern.
Actually there are many cats wrongly classified as breeds on Petfinder, and sometimes they even get colors and patterns wrong. I see some of the cats called Calico on Petfinder are really Black and White, not Calico/ Tortie & White . But they have photos of the cats so you can see which ones really have black, red and white. and your GF would probably be able to find a cat who looks something like this one. ( probably not exactly like her, because the placement of the black, red and white bits is random. )

or even if you're in the U.S. and don't see a Tortie and White / Calico cat listed on Petfinder near you, you can also try Pet Harbor that many shelters use. Or just visit some local shelters and have a look. Often they don't list all the cats online anyway.
