What breed is my kitty?

Hello everyone!
Three weeks ago I adopted this beautiful black kitten from a humane society and was wondering if anyone could identify what kind of kitty he is! His fur seems to be a little longer than a short haired breed and only in the sunlight I can see some tabby markings. His eyes are a goldish yellow with a little green ring around it. He is my very first cat and I'm so excited but am curious if anyone might know his specific breed. Thanks so much!

Hello!

Your little boy looks to be a domestic semi-longhair.

However, he looks to be very little still. So perhaps

after a little while, he may become a little fluffier.

There is a slight chance he could be a turkish

angora mix (given the shape of his face, his eyes,

and his semi-longhair coat), but he is most likely

to be a domestic semi-longhair.

He also looks to have a locket (a tiny little splash

of white on his chest). And if you're seeing tabby

markings on him, that must mean he has ghost

tabby markings.

He's a very handsome boy, and he looks very happy

to be living with you. c:
