I think your kitty is a Domestic Shorthair Silver Tabby between Mackerel and Ticked. Hard to tell from the different hue in the photos.
But better wait for a more expert answer for the actual identification.

"wild" colored ticked tabby, I think. As one of the variation of Abyssinians are.
I myself I like shy cats as family cat. They are shy to strangers and visitors and run and hide, but give their trust to family members. Its also nice to know, when they give you their love, its not because it thursday today, but because they deem you have earned their trust and love.
