I'm not sure.
I think that he is not a pure breed, maybe a breed mixed with a normal domestic shorthair/tabby.
I'm not sure but by his face it looks like he may have Abyssinian roots.....but it could just be face structure.

He is a ticked tabby. Very nice this way.
He looks as a typical domestic shorthair, so I dont think he has any near purebred ancestry. Even if ticked tabby isnt the most common tabby type among moggies.
The breed mostly connected with being ticked tabby, are the mentioned Abyssinian. So maybe he has some grandfather or grandfather had one.

Could be some Abyssinian in there. Not lean like an Abby but a couple generations out you could get that. It's not just the ticked coat but his strong blush markings and russet underside.
