This cat wondered into our yard and I thought he looked a little different than the normal cats around. He is very white and his ears and around some of his face is pink.
He is surely a point, probably a creme point - ie diluted red. That is why you dont see easily the masque, you must look closely at him to see the a little darker tail, ears, the masque. The only I do hesitate on, if he is cream or red point - I have sometimes difficult to see the difference.
My guess is, he has a Siamese or Oriental not far ago as his Ancestor. Granddad or perhaps even a parent. Why, he may eve be the real thing although of pet quality - a pet quality siamese...
(to be a point you dont need no siamese as near ancestor - that ancestry may be 60 years ago - alike happens into this day with the Russian Blues because they used some blue siameses 70 years ago, but not used pointed cats in breeding for 60 years now... But the point gene wanders down along the river of Life, and if two carriers mate - voila - one of the kittens in the litter will be a point)
