Thank you. Two of them came from under my barn and I was never sure, so, thank you. I had originally thought they could be mixed with Persian because the black one is so big boned, but eats very little. But your answer makes a bit more sense.

I could be absolutely wrong! But I've worked at several clinics even cat only clinics in my life and oftentimes people think their kitty is a certain breed.. its usually any longhair cat must be a mainecoon! But 99 percent of the time it's a domestic longhair. You could always get a dna test if you're curious. Cats come in all personalities and sizes. I once had a 14lb tuxedo colored cat healthy weight just a very big framed kitty. My current tuxedo cat is 6lbs healthy weight.. such a tiny frame. There is a long running joke about orange domestic short/medium/long hair cats being short fused and food obsessed though.. not a particular breed or anything but the coincidences are pretty funny seeing how spicy those orange ones are! In vet med I rarely see a certain breed. Saw an abyssinian once, a few mainecoons, some sphynxs, persians. But mostly domestic ___

Black kitty does have an odd face though in the picture a little wider than normal.. DNA test! 🤣
