Just finished reading Corps Justice by C. G. Cooper. A three volume set I got free from B&N on my nook.
I like Harlan Coben. I've read a few of his books. One of the reasons I like him becuase he writes with an unmistakble male voice. I don't know exactly how to word this, but he writes how a man thinks. He's true to himself.Started yesterday evening Seconds Away by Harlan Coben.
He's very easy reading.
I finished the book last night. I like his books too. I find him very easy reading and you get into the book from the first page.I like Harlan Coben. I've read a few of his books. That's not possible (Game of Thrones), since GRRM releases them so infrequently. I've ended up re-reading the whole series each time a new one comes out. Very annoying. I figure I'll never live long enough to see the end of the stupid series (or he won't live long enough to finish it).
I'm reading the 5th book in the Game of Thrones series; trying to make it last until the next one is released. Also, re-reading Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn, author of Gone Girl. Plus a few non-fiction reference books. I keep a lot of books going at one time; I never know what I will be in the mood for.
There's lots of free ones out there. Some are good, some not so good. But when they're free, if you don't like it just delete and go on to the next one. I almost never pay for books.
Just bought a Kindle. Going to read every single post in this thread and make copious notes
Kindle is the most popular "ereader". I have the Paperwhite version, very small (spread your hand open, that's about the size of it). It can hold thousands of books. You download them either directly from the device or from the Amazon website. I had never really used one before until now and let me tell you, it DOES make reading much easier. In recent years I had stopped reading because it was too hard on my eyes even with glasses; I'd wind up getting tired quickly. I used to eat books, as my mom would say and I went down to maybe one or two a year.I don't hae a kindle. How much does a kindle cost and how does it work and what do I do with my hundreds of books
I'm dying to read in my book case.
There are several versions. I bought the Paperwhite. I think it was about $130. You can get it for a lot less if you allow ads to appear which are fairly innocuous.@Sivyaleah. Thank you for all your information. How much does something like that cost, what sort.of shop would you buy I and gettingbfilmd
