My name is Tina and my "kids" are Sally and Morris. Sally is a tortie dilute shorthair. She will be 7 this April. Morris is a red/orange/cream tabby shorthair. He just turned 3 yrs old on March 28. They are the center of our world right now. I'm getting ready to have my own "people kitten" in about a month. I'm excited to see how they react to her when she's born. The people Daddy loves them very much. The 3 of them are often all sleeping together. Mommy has lots of pictures of that. So, thats it for now. We just wanted to say hi and thanks for having us.
Good evening... I've been posting in other forums, so figgured it was about time to formerly introduce myself!
My name is Marian, I'm a mom of 5 non-fur kids, three girls aged 14, 10 & 8 and lastly two boys, aged 2 1/2 and 18 months. THen there are the fur-kids. Chewbacca my 4 year old 100-lb plus Newfoundland baby and our newest addition, Willow. We adopted Willow from our local humane society 3 weeks ago today! She is 3 1/2 year old long haired red tabby. I think she resembles a Siberian myself
The pound told us she had just had a litter of kittens and we knew this to be true as her tummy was still slightly large and her nipples were pink and pronounced. Since then we have been watching Willow grow by the day instead of shrink! and her teats [seemingly] have been filling with milk. Although we have yet to express any... I suppose this means birth is still days away?.... We have been feeling movement sice Easter night (this was the first we checked for any) and every night since the movement has become more and more evident.
At any rate, I look forward to sharing their birth with you and getting to know you all!
Hi Tina! I'm new here too and can sympathize with your waiting for your own non-fur kid to be born. I've been thinking as I count down the days to Willow to birth her own kittens, how I felt only 18 months ago as I awaited the birth of mine!
Congrats and good luck to you and your little kitten!!!
