Well I just got home from visiting the animal shelter, and saw a bunch of adorable kittens and cats up for adoption. they range from 4 1/2 months to 4 yrs. Mostly male, which I found a bit odd though. My heart sank when I saw all those lovely little fur babies looking for a loving home, I wanted to adopt them all, but couldnt. I fell in love with 2 kittens though.
One is female, spayed, still has claws, is a calico tiger (mostly white with some tiger markings), and is about 6 months old, and playful. She had a sibling already go home.
The other, is male, not spayed (bit young yet for spaying), 41/2 months, not de clawwed, grey, and looks like a calico too. I had him eating out of my hand, and is very playful.
My heart sank, they both were purring when I held them, and the grey one was licking my hand. It was a bit funny, as I was holding the female, a family came in looking for a kitten and brought the male out. He was a bit over playful, nad nipped one of the kids, and took a swat at another, scaring the kids and making one not want him. But once I got him in my arms he was fine.
Looks like if one is available on Wednesday, I will be bringing one home if not both (if available). We shall see, I have to go through a screen test and chat for 15 - 20 minutes before I get the cat, but do not foresee any problems there. Here's hoping.
