Is there anyone that can identify what breeds were tossed into my melting pot of a cat?
She has a smoky grey undercoat but everywhere else is brown/black as well as having a subtly striped tail.

We have no idea how old she is or her history- 2 years ago she appeared on our porch like she owned the place. According to her chip she had an elderly owner registered 5 years ago at the time, but her phone number had since then been disconnected and she lived on the other side of the city (almost a 40 minute drive and over a large river) so this cat coming into our lives seemed even stranger.

Shes got a slight cleft paette, weird terth, and consider her to be a witchs attempt at reanimating a taxidermied cat lol

Anyway, this is just for fun- Im interested to see what people see from her!

Wow, that is an interesting color! Black smoke tortie, I think (I say tortie because it looks like there are some red patches on her paws, plus her toe beans are mottled pink and black). I don't see any particular breed in her, but she's definitely very unusual.

I would describe her as a black smoke domestic shorthair. She reminds me of Spiker, a really cool barn cat we had when I was a teenager... she was my favorite of the barn cats :) Most cats are not any particular breed, and are not mixes of breeds, unlike dogs.

I'm not seeing red patches... although it's possible she may have small bits of red/cream, I think those look more like brownish patches, which are normal for black cats, especially if they go outside. Black smoke cats can tend to have a more patchy-brownish appearance, too.

It's possible those toes might have red/cream mottling, but it doesn't really look like that to me... it looks more like some kind of pigment loss, which can happen... or perhaps former wear and tear or trauma to the toe pads (judging from the location of the lighter areas).

She looks to me like a black smoke dsh the brown is just the normal brown that comes from sun tanning. :) She is stunning
