Weird Chattering

Hi, all!

So, I know that many of you have cats that do the chattering thing when they see birds or something that's out of reach, but does anyone have cats that do it when they're nervous or afraid? If I say something to my cat and he doesn't like the tone, he'll do it, then scuttle or creep away from me.

I've had to tell him off in the past and had raised my voice (not screaming at him), so maybe that's what started it.

The tone of your voice tells your cat how you feel. The chattering is just his way of reacting to it. Other cats would hiss or meow, yours makes the chattering noise. Not weird at all.
