Out of the blue, my Kirby's right eye just got watery and a droplet fell from it. I was wondering if there is anything I should be careful of because we have a vet appointment coming up in a couple of days. The liquid is clear but it's only one eye and I'm afraid he might have an infection. He's a relatively healthy cat so I cannot think of anything that can be an irritation.

If it was an infection the fluid wouldnt be clear. It could be a speck of dust, an eyelash, something like that. Are you able to have a close look to see if he has scratched it. Just keep a watch on it and if it gets worse or starts to bother him, a vets visit may be needed.

Thank you both, I forgot to follow up but the vet ensured that it was probably dirt in the eye. Thank you so much for checking in
