Yes, that's a sign she's hydrated. You know how when you're sick, and you don't drink enough, and you pinch your hand, it doens't snap back, but when you're healty, and you pinch your skin, it snaps back like a rubber band? Well, that's all you're doing by grabbing the scruff.

This not for everyday but try putting tunawater in the water... that usually motivates them to drink

It really depends. A cat who only eats dry will dring a lot more than a cat that eats both wet & dry or wet only!

To ensure your cat gets enough water - make sure fresh water is available 24/7. If not sure you can check for dehydration by pulling up the skin on you cats back/neck. If he/she get's enough water it should jump back like a rubber band. If it takes its time slowely go back into shape or stay up then there is a problem and your baby should be seen by a VET.

Well my kitty still isnt drinking water but the doc said its ok because there is water in her wet food and I have also been adding water to her wet food..

Thanx! there still waiting for her thyroid test to come back. And if that is normal there gonna go down in past her throat and everything =(
