Hi. The vet applied the topical dewormer on my cat, Mimi, under her neck between shoulder blades last week Thursday (it's Sunday today). The residue made her fur sticky and clumpy in that area.

Any advice on how to wash it off? I've tried petting her with wet hands and wiping her with a wet hand towel. It's less clumpy and sticky, but still persists.

Any advice?

It usually happens when I put flea and worm treatment on my cats neck. It will go on its own in a few days, as long as your cat cant easily reach it to lick it I wouldnt worry.
