Well we certainly have a lot of festive cats here on TCS!

Once again, voting is going to be difficult. We have 39 entries and you have to choose your favorite 15 out of that. I feel a bit like the Grinch saying that. You can only click the "Vote" button once, so please make sure you vote for all 15 photos at once.

The winner will receive two cans of Feline Cafe meals from our sponsor Bravo.

This is one of the hardest contests of all IMHO, but I chose my 15. Every entrant deserves to win, I feel!

EggSandwich - I agree - and especially about @donnae 's Major Tom Snickers, sticking out of the tree, cartoon style - but there are so many fabulous shots this time. Your Cinnamon coming through the curtain and reaching out for the tree, mama africa 's Missy with her mouth open and her tongue out ("Yes, there was popcorns on the tree, but I eated thems!"), @abyeb's Charlie, looking absolutely entranced by the Christmas village, AbbysMom 's Abby (I swear - this photo should be a Christmas card), thefiresidecat 's Tiberius Rex (I can actually hear him singing in Sammy Davis Junior's voice, "The Candy Cat can; oh the Candy Cat can..."), @gareth's Loki, so innocent and serene (I wonder what he's thinking...) - every entry is just over the top this time. I think that - for just sheer fun - the Holiday Cats contest is the best I've seen on TCS.

Yes, Norachan , that would be wonderful and entertaining. Also, the thread could include cats sleeping in boxes that once held their gifts!

The truth is that I had to borrow the tree and santa from my neighbours, because I don't have christmas ornaments. I wondered what they did to the tree, because as soon as Missy saw and smelled it, she started to salivate.
The neighbours wanted me to keep the tree and santa.

These photos do make me think the real reason we like to put up our festive decorations is for all the additional cat fun they bring.

1CatOverTheLine he's the most charming, cutest, coolest cat - Dudley and I are utterly blessed to have been graced by him. But, honestly, he has the grumpiest of markings on his super sweet face, which look so incongruous to his adorable character.

It's extremely funny!
