Right let’s start this from the beginning. Around March this year a little black and white girl who we call Missy- as my husband calls her Missy moo bags lol and it stuck - showed up and moved in. At that time she was pregnant me being the soft touch I am let her and advertised that she was with us but nobody ever came for her so we took her to our vets we use for our animals and found out she was indeed very pregnant. To cut a long story short we ensured she had the right food and vet treatment she required and 3 weeks later she gave birth to 4 kittens. All healthy we ensured they and her were vet checked and had flea wormers and injections before little ones went to their new home. Unfortunately one of the owners let her out as we were trying to keep her in to be spayed and that was the last we see of her she was not returning for food or anything and nobody had seen her well that was until 2 days ago where she has come back and very pregnant again which worries me as she only had a litter in April.
I know we could get them aborted and have her spayed now but I feel she is too far gone and I’m just not that sort of person, so we have decided to spay her when the kittens are around 6 week old to avoid this again as we have no idea how many litters she has had before but know it can’t be good for her. Even if we never see her again once the kittens are re-homed but at least I will know she won’t be having litter after litter and she has at least had some injections. Told you I was a soft touch lol. And yes I am feeding her Royal Canin dry kitten food as well as Felix kitten pouches the first thing we got when she showed back up.
These are some photos I took last night. As you see she is a gorgeous girl plus as you see I have set up the dog crate for her as well. Profile pic was taken when she was with us last time.
Anyways I'm finding it really hard to distinguish when these kittens will arrive. I think she is further along than when she moved in last time as you can clearly see them moving, there is no hair around her nipples but could this be as she only had a litter a few months ago that it has not grown back yet. And where she did only have a litter in April what complications she could run into because yes her last litter thrived and was very healthy but surely with no time to recover really this litter won't.
