So, Puppy found a kitty sized hole in the boxspring. In cat fashion, he made it his new playpen. He also found another hole that just fits his paw, so he can reach out an swipe at us. Very cute.
He's in no danger of falling through, since we have storage under the bed, so he's effectively laying on the storage boxes. However, this can't be good for the boxspring. We attempted to put a piece of cardboard over the hole, but he kept us up last night by chewing through it. We have a new respect for his teeth.
Are there any ideas about what it is he likes about it? He has other places that would provide "hiding", but he seems to prefer the boxspring. He's not really trying to hide, as he just goes in there to nap and then comes back out for playtime. Could it be the hamock kind of thing that he likes to nap on? I'd like to build him something that will draw his attention away from the boxspring.
