Hey I read about the vanilla extract trick to try and make all the cats smell the same and am willing to try anything to help my cats get along, stop fighting and spraying. Question for anyone that knows though, google yields that the alcohol in the extract could be as much as rum and will be harmful? Is this true for just a couple drops? Other than the tail area where they can clean themselves I am not worried about the adult cats as much as they do not hang out, but my two kittens definitely groom each other. I was thinking of grinding my own paste from the beans to use if the extract is a safety risk. I'm that desperate for peace in my house. 😂 thanks!

If you let the extract dry before letting the kitties play, there should be no risk of alcohol toxicity. The alcohol dries real fast.
