Comet competes for attention with Mr. Vakoom. He meows at it, chirps, and hisses if it gets to close to his chair. WHen he was younger he would head for the highest spot in the apartment, which is my desk/work area. He'd mess up my papers and knock over pens.

Thankfully he's calmed down now.

Jasper never quite got used to our vacuum, he'd run away with his tail puffed up like a little bottle brush :lol3:
I don't think Ruby minds much though. She doesn't want to be in the same room, but she doesn't seem scared anymore, just annoyed. One of my buddies says his cat (who is a bit of a lump) won't budge unless the vacuum actually touches him!

Somewhere north of Mexico and on the ocean.
I vacuumed today. The cat didn't mind as much as she usually does (I think she's starting to take cues from the dog--who has to be pushed out of the way...)

My mom had a Siamese a long time ago (until I was born... which would be ages). She used to vacuum the cat. Apparently, he loved it, and it was a great way to remove loose hair from his coat.

My cat believes in the Curtains of Invisibility
