My dad ordered something for my on August 1st from a website (back brace for one of my dogs). The seller is in the US (Washington State) and I'm in Canada (Ontario). I received a tracking number for the package (International Letter) but the tracking information hasn't been updated since August 5th when it was in a sorting facility in Los Angeles, CA. Is it normal to not have an update or a week (6 business days for USPS)? The seller is reputable, it was shipped the same day the order was placed. I don't order a lot from the states but when I have previously, it's been here fore now or I've at least gotten some sort of update via tracking.
I don't want to bother company if this is normal and I've previously just experienced abnormally quick shipping times? The only time I've had something take longer was when we had the Canadian Postal Strike. The package was sent First Class Mail International if that makes a difference.
I'm not in desperate need of this, but the sooner it arrives the better, so I'd like to get it straightened out if this is abnormal. One of my dogs (the puppy mill girl, Sadie) is having some back pain and absolutely hates crate rest, so the sooner it can get here, the better.
