My cat has been diagnosed with FIC, a bladder disease, as I understand it.
The vet told me to give him prescription Science Diet. First of all, the cat wouldn't eat it. Second of all, I don't want to feed him Science Diet because it has biproducts in it. Asking the vet what other food I can feed the cat was fruitless. At least my cat peed on her (good boy!). The vets do aggravate me-only food they would recommend and sell is Science Diet. And based on the ingredients, it's not the best food to feed the cat.
Are there good quality foods out there for the urinary health that do not have biproducts?
