I have been taking care of 6 kittens since they were 4 weeks old. They are now 18 weeks old, and they have been fixed so now I have to find homes for them (I can only keep two inside, and I didn't want the others to go outside). I had been trying on and off before they were fixed, but I wanted to get them fixed beforehand because I figured they would be easier to find homes for. I contacted The Greater Huntsville Humane Society, which is a local no-kill shelter near where I live. They said they would be able to take them in so they can adopt them out. I know they will find great homes for them, but I am sad. I have been caring for them for so long. I have been crying on and off all morning. I have to take them Saturday morning, and if they pass the FIV test, they will take them in. Oh goodness, this is harder than I expected.
