I have a lovely tabby called Pussy who was a stray and arrived with us about five years ago. We've treated her like a baby and she has been queen of the house (definitely in charge of our two Jack Russells!). In May, another little kitty arrived in a bad way, just had kittens and she was very underweight and in trouble. We took her in and have done all the necessary and she's taken to us like a duck to water. Unfortunately, Pussy is extremely unhappy about this and has left home several times for a week or so at a time and really seems very miserable. They growl at each other, which appears to be normal, but Pussy's nose is so severely out of joint that I don't think she'll stay. I'm very sad about that - is there anything I can do to cheer her up? I make a fuss of her when she is around but she doesn't want to come into the house or sleep in her usual places any more. We're moving house in a month or so and would like to take the two of them with us when we go. Any advice?
